We’ve been keeping you in the loop when it comes to Scott Stewart’s PRIEST for a while now. And when I say in the loop I mainly mean casting announcement after casting announcement. Dare I say this flick is actually rounding up a killer cast too. Here’s who we have so far: Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Karl Urban, Stephen Moyer and Lily Collins. Now today I’ve got yet another casting announcement for PRIEST! According to Variety CALIFORNICATION’s Madchen Amick has jumped on board!
Amick (below) has been around for years, more recently making the rounds via popular television shows. Here’s the rundown for PRIEST: In a world ravaged by war between man and vampires a warrior priest-turned-vampire fighter teams with a sheriff and a warrior priestess to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. Bettany stars as the titular Priest while Collins plays Bettany’s niece and Moyer plays his brother. Gigandet and Maggie Q join him as the sheriff and priestess respectively with Urban playing the villain Black Hat. Amick joins as Shannon, the mother of the kidnapped niece. Well there you go.
