Of the three installments of Christopher Nolan's much celebrated Batman trilogy, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is probably the film I've revisited the least, which has left me scratching my head wondering what I thought of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. I guess I'll need to add it to my movie night schedule. Unlike my forgetful brain, Anne Hathaway still has very fond memories of her time in the catsuit and she spoke with Variety at the Toronto International Film Festival to reveal that she'd love to reprise the role at some point.
I loved that character and I had such a blast playing her, I’m not sure how it would work because I think the Chris Nolan chapter of the Batman story has been wrapped up and I’m part of that, but I love the DC Universe and it would be fun to take a trip back.

As Hathaway said, Nolan's time in the Bat-verse is done and there will likely be a different actress taking on the role of Catwoman the next time we see the character, but the idea of a Catwoman spin-off sounds interesting even without Anne Hathaway in the role. There's no way that could turn out badly. Oh, wait. Hathaway doesn't feel ownership of the role however and said that she'll have no problem passing the baton to another actress when the time comes.
It sort of goes with the territory when you accept it and receive it from the last Catwoman. I was shown such generosity from Halle [Berry] and from Michelle [Pfeiffer], and so I would do that the next time as well.
