Just last week I told you all about Bruce Willis stepping back into the genre with THREE STORIES ABOUT JOAN. Willis will be starring and directing the feature about a young woman at three points in her life and the family tragedies that cause her to lose her grip on reality.

A week ago we didn’t even know that synopsis, all we knew was Willis’ involvement plus that it would be starring Owen Wilson and Kieran Culkin. Well today Variety are dropping word on the actress tapped to star in the psychological thriller.

Mr. Willis has chosen Camilla Belle to be his Joan.Sounds good to me! You may remember Belle (pictured) as the only decent thing about the WHEN A STRANGER CALLS remake.

Christopher Alexander and Sam Applebaum penned the script for THREE STORIES ABOUT JOAN with an early October start date in Shreveport, LA being planned.

I’m definately stoked for THREE STORIES ABOUT JOAN. I’ve said how Bruce Willis is one of my favorite actors out there and the idea of seeing him in a psychological thriller (and directing to boot!) has me excited. Plus seeing Owen Wilson tackling a series role and seeing Camilla Belle in another genre flick, all good in my book! We’ll keep you updated on any other THREE STORIES ABOUT JOAN news.
