Best Movie & TV Trailers of the Week! Jumanji 3, HBO’s Gemstones & more!

Hi there, my fellow trailer-files! We have another collection of fresh previews for the big and small screen to wet your appetite on this July 4th weekend! Let's kick off the festivities with a trip back to the jungle with JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL, which brings back The Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and the absolutely gorgeous Miss Karen Gillan! We also get the addition of old-timer heavyweight Danny's: DeVito and Glover! This sequel looks just as fun as the previous one! Bring it! I also liked the look of the comical mystery that is KNIVES OUT which has an all-star cast and was written/directed by Rian Johnson (and since this is NOT a STAR WARS film, I think we should be alright). On the TV trailer side, we have what appears to be the next hilarious collaboration between HBO and Danny McBride (EASTBOUND AND DOWN, VICE PRINCIPALS) in THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES! McBride is accompanied by John Goodman and Adam Divine as a family of swindling preachers. What could go wrong? Also, I'm really stoked for Amazon's superhero series THE BOYS. It's just got this batshit crazy WATCHMEN-on-LSD vibe that I believe is going to make it super successful! Lastly, it wouldn't be 4th of July weekend this year without one last dose of STRANGER THINGS SEASON 3!

Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for spins on the superhero genre, but my favorite preview of the week is definitely Amazon's THE BOYS! The constumes, the concept and the comedy seem to have all combined to form something uniquely exceptional! I mean, it stars bad-ass Karl Urban as a character named Billy Butcher! That's the shit!
