Black Mirror season 6 cast: Zazie Beetz, Josh Hartnett, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, and more join

The Zazie Beetz horror film They Will Kill You reaches theatres in 2026 and producer Barbara Muschietti says it will make viewers smile

Two months have passed since we heard that Black Mirror season 6 had been ordered at the Netflix streaming service, and now The Hollywood Reporter has revealed the names of several of the season’s cast members! The actors who will be appearing in Black Mirror season 6 include Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), Josh Hartnett (Penny Dreadful), Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Kate Mara (House of Cards), Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You), Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick), Clara Rugaard (Love Gets a Room), Auden Thornton (Arlington Road), and Anjana Vasan (Spider-Man: Far from Home). Details on the characters they’ll be playing have not been revealed, but that’s a solid cast for any show to have.

Created and written by Charlie Brooker, who executive produces the show with Annabel Jones, Black Mirror is

an anthology series that taps into our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia leading to an unforgettable – and sometimes unsettling – conclusion. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror reflecting our 21st Century existence back at us.

The first two seasons of Black Mirror consisted of just three episodes, and while the third and fourth seasons were expanded to six episodes each, the fifth season returned to the three episode format. The Hollywood Reporter has heard that season 6 will have more episodes than season 5, but they haven’t heard just how many episodes there will be. They do know that all of the cast members mentioned above appear in the “first three” episodes of the season.

However many episodes the season has, it will be more episodes of Black Mirror than I have watched to date. I still haven’t gotten around to checking out this show, but I do intend to someday.
