If you're lucky enough to live in an area where theaters are open once again, you might be looking to snag tickets for Marvel's Black Widow. If that's your situation, you may be interested to know that advance tickets are now available, one month before the film opens in cinemas on July 9.

“This is the first Marvel movie to be released in theaters in over two years, and so fans are beyond excited for the next MCU big-screen adventure,” says Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “It makes sense that this is the fans' most anticipated summer movie, as we've been waiting a long time to discover more about Natasha Romanoff’s origin story and how her early life events led to the Avengers. For moviegoers around the world, July 9th can't come soon enough!"

Directed by Cate Shortland (LoreBerlin Syndrome), Black Widow takes us to the time when Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

The long-overdue female-fronted solo feature stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei/Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz as Melina. The film also features the classic Marvel villain Taskmaster as an unstoppable and adaptable force of nature.

If you're like me in that you live in an area where theaters are still shuttered, you can rent Black Widow for $29.99 on Disney+ via Premium Access. Trust me, I know it's not the same as seeing it in theaters, but it's better than nothing, right? Do you want to be that one person in your Discord group that didn't see Marvel's latest blockbuster? I didn't think so.

However you choose to see Black Widow, I hope you have a great time with the film. A solo adventure starring Natasha Romanoff is long overdue, as is the start of Marvel's Phase 4. Let's make sure we kick this new era of the MCU off with a bang and give Black Widow the reception it deserves.
