Bloody Disgusting Selects has acquired the distribution rights to CHOP. While BD Selects has previously focused on limited theatrical releases of foreign flicks, this domestic flick will instead be released on DVD and video on demand later in the year.
CHOP is a revenge thriller with a comedic edge that centers on a seemingly innocent young couple, forced by a psychotic stranger to confront their duplicitous past.

The film marks the directorial debut of Trent Haaga, who previously penned the scripts for DEADGIRL and CITIZEN TOXIE. The screenplay is by Adam Minarovich. Tanisha Mukherjee (below), Billy Bakshi, Malaya Manson, Will Keenan, Timothy Muskatell and Haaga himself are among the cast.
