The plot of Disney’s 2008 animated offering, BOLT, is the same old story, really. Dog has lived entire life as the star of a TV show where he’s a superhero repeatedly saving mankind, dog somehow gets lost outside the studio, dog meets cat and rhino who help him realize he’s not really a superpowered pup, dog has a breakdown at the realization of his profound normalcy, dog slowly learns to be ok with not having superpowers and, finally, dog becomes a hero in his own right. Boy if I had a nickel for every time that old chestnut played out. The voice cast includes John Travolta, Woody Harrelson and Thomas Hayden Church. The folks at “Animated News” managed to snag themselves a spy shot of the teaser poster. Check it out to the right and get it in all its bigness over HERE. Bolt is set to discover his absolute non-uniqueness on November 26th of next year. Thanks to Josh for the heads up!
