Love it or hate it, we’re getting another BOOGEYMAN sequel. Hell, the direct-to-DVD sequel isn’t even out yet and they’re already getting a third one ready? Damn skippy they are!
Moviehole.net found a mess of info on BOOGEYMAN 3, including the whole synopsis and the cast list. The synopsis reads: When college sophomore Sarah Morris witnesses the alleged suicide of her roommate, it sets into motion a series of horrific events that cause Sarah to fear the supernatural entity known as The Boogeyman. As she tries to convince the rest of her dorm that the Boogeyman does exist, the evil force grows stronger and her friends begin to pay the price. Now Sarah must stop this ultimate evil before the entire campus falls prey…
If you wanna scope out the casting list, you can head over here. I don’t know, I think Barry Watson’s pretty cool, and Tory Mussett (below) is absolutely amazing. But BOOGEYMAN just didn’t do it for me. I highly doubt either of the sequels will either, but who knows. The synopsis for part 3 does sound intriguing. BOOGEYMAN 2 is slated to hit DVD shelves January 8, 2008 with production for BOOGEYMAN 3 set to being in February in Bulgaria.
