Very nice! Borat 2 gets first trailer & October premiere date

UPDATE: BORAT 2 — titled Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstanhas now released its full official trailer which can be viewed above!

A first look at Borat's long-awaited return is finally here, with Amazon Prime Video dropping a teaser and poster for the secretly filmed sequel to the 2006 mega-hit.

Sacha Baron Cohen returns in the title role as the Kazakh journalist, who inserts himself into awkward and often dangerous scenarios in the heartland of America. Things apparently got so dangerous that Baron Cohen had to wear a bulletproof vest on two different days and there were many risky scenarios during the secret pandemic-era shoot.

The character is "back to save 2020" with Amazon Prime Video dropping the sequel on October 23, 2020. In the clip, Borat finds himself as hapless as ever, as he attempts to kill the virus by bashing a pot against the wall but of course, Borat is recognized in the streets and is eager to give high-fives when necessary. I'm expecting the same awkward but hilarious humor from the sequel as we got in the first film.

Titled BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILMBaron-Cohen rushed to have the film ready to open before Election Day on November 3, 2020, and it looks like it was a mission accomplished! Will YOU be watching the sequel? BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILM hits Amazon on October 23, 2000. Oh and by the way, you can check out the film's pretty funny poster below that takes this year's motto to wear your mask to a very different level.
