Brahms: The Boy II moves to a December release date

Brahms: The Boy II

BRAHMS: THE BOY II, director William Brent Bell's sequel to his 2016 film THE BOY, had been scheduled to reach theatres in just one month, on July 26th… but you may have noticed that we still haven't even seen a trailer for this movie. That's because BRAHMS isn't coming out in July after all. Distributor STX Entertainment has decided to move the release out of the busy summer months and give it a slightly more peaceful release date of December 6th.

Written by Stacey Menear, who also wrote the first movie, BRAHMS: THE BOY II tells the following story:

Unaware of the terrifying history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moves into the estate, where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms.

Katie Holmes, Christopher Convery, Owain Yeoman, and Ralph Ineson star.

The film is produced by Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, Eric Reid, Matt Berenson, Jim Wedaa, and Roy Lee.

I'm looking forward to seeing this sequel and checking in on Brahms again. I enjoyed the first movie more than I was expecting to, and thought that twist was awesome. The December release date works for me. This summer already has too many creepy dolls in it anyway.
