Remember last week, when I told you all about CREEPSHOW: RAW? Well it all stemmed from a random email informing us of this project, which we priorly had heard absolutely nothing about.
Turns out the email was dead on and there is, in fact, a CREEPSHOW: RAW in the works! Now CREEPSHOW: RAW is set to be an internet based anthology based on the classic CREEPSHOW film from the early 80s.
Now there’s no dout this thing is happening, with The Jace Hall Show getting an exclusive look behind the scenes! You can go ahead and scope out the video below to check it out for yourself!
Now here’s some internesting notes regarding CREEPSHOW RAW: It’s directed by actor Wilmer Valderrama. Yes. Wilmer Valerrama will be making his directing debut with CREEPSHOW: RAW. The online project is produced by Todd Roy and stars Michael Madsen (above), Wendi McLendon-Covey (below) of RENO 911 fame, and Sam Hafermalz.
I’m going out on a limb here and guessing maybe CREEPSHOW: RAW might actually be something worth checking out in the long run. The cast is pretty good for the most part, hell anything Michael Madsen is in instantly gets an ok from me… he just scares me and seduces me at the same time… hard to explain. Plus the behind the scenes footage looked halfway decent and apparently the production is pretty big for an internet based anthology. So needless to say I’m game for at least checking this bad boy out.
No word yet if CREEPSHOW creators Stehen King or George A. Romero are involved with this, but I highly doubt it. Here’s how Mr. Valderrama wraps up CREEPSHOW: RAW in one sentence: The next generation of what CREEPSHOW should be. Alright then. It’s got to be better than CREEPSHOW 3 right?
