Burton’s Tweedles

Back in July I told you all the first casting news for Tim Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND with Mia Wasikowska (below) signing on for the titular role. And today we’ve got the second bit of casting news via Variety.

Star of the TV shows LITTLE BRITAIN and LITTLE BRITAIN USA Matt Lucas has just signed on to play the roles of Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Now I know nothing at all about Lucas (right), but apparently he’s a pretty funny individual. Well at least he’s got the look down!

I can’t wait for Burton’s ALICE. The only downside to this one is that it’s coming from Disney, then again Disney did make PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN right? So I’ll keep my hopes up!
