So Ezra Buzzington is a regular name in this beloved genre of ours. So whenever his name pops up alongside an interesting looking movie it’s our job to bring you that news! And that’s exactly what I’m doing!
Velvet Hammer Films and ArsonCuff Entertainment have recently sent out a press release announcing Buzzington (right) starring in BREATH OF HATE. Here’s the release:
“Velvet Hammer Films and ArsonCuff Entertainment have tapped Ezra Buzzington to play the lead in the upcoming Breath of Hate. Buzzington will collaborate, once again, with director Sean Cain (Silent Night, Zombie Night) in this Jack Ketchum-esque horror film.
The Wes Laurie penned script for Breath of Hate centers around a young woman in the escort business, who on her last job is confronted by a trio of escaped mental patients looking to change the world; one victim at a time. “I can’t wait to wrap my guts around this guy,” Buzzington says. “I get him. Man, do I get him. Every time I fucking drive in LA.”
Breath of Hate begins filming in late summer. This is the second production out of Wes Laurie’s ArsonCuff Entertainment and Sean Cain’s Velvet Hammer Films, who are currently finishing post-production on Silent Night, Zombie Night.
Sounds like Buzzington is set to play a pretty twisted character. Is it just me or does BREATH OF HATE have a slight LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT feel to it? Instead of escaped convicts though we’ve got escaped mental pateitns running around this time.
Director Sean Cain also has a rather interesting list of acting credits to his name including: NAKED BENEATH THE WATER, WEREWOLF IN A WOMEN’S PRISON, CAGED LESBOS A-GO-GO, AMATEUR PORN STAR KILLER 3-D: INSIDE THE HEAD, and VAGINAL HOLOCAUST.
