The Friday the 13th franchise has returned to Camp Crystal Lake, and now fans can bring some of the series’ music home with them. The soundtrack for Crystal Lake, the prequel series starring Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, is available digitally from A24 Music under the title Camp Songs.
The 30-track album features the series’ main score by composer Giosuè Greco, along with music by longtime Friday the 13th composer Harry Manfredini. Manfredini created new music for the opening credits of the show, giving the new series a direct musical connection to the classic slasher films. The main theme composed by Greco also nods to Manfredini’s familiar Friday the 13th piece, “Sail Away Tiny Sparrow.”

Crystal Lake Brings Friday the 13th Back to Camp
After years of development complications and legal disputes surrounding the Friday the 13th franchise, Crystal Lake finally brought Jason and his mother back to our screens. The eight-episode first season explores Pamela’s grief and the events surrounding Jason’s childhood, expanding the history behind the original 1980 film. The series stars Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees and Callum Vinson as young Jason, with William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, Gwendolyn Sundstrom, and Nick Cordileone among the supporting cast.
Brad Caleb Kane serves as showrunner and executive producer. The producing team also includes A24, Marc Toberoff and Victor Miller of Friday 13th LLC, Robert M. Barsamian and Robert P. Barsamian of Horror Inc., Stuart Manashil, Tyson Bidner, Michael Lennox, and Roy Lee.
In my review of the complete first season of Crystal Lake, I gave the series an 8/10, praising Cardellini’s portrayal of Pamela, the show’s affection for the original Friday the 13th, and the return of familiar characters, locations, and music. While I had reservations about some mythology changes and pacing decisions, I found the season to be a highly enjoyable return to the franchise.
Manfredini’s music was one of the details that helped make the series feel connected to its roots. Now, with Camp Songs available digitally, fans can revisit the sounds of this return to Camp Crystal Lake whenever they like.
All eight episodes of Crystal Lake are available to stream on Peacock in the United States, with the series also available through regional services including Sky Atlantic/NOW in the UK and Ireland, HBO Max across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Crave in Canada.
