As you’re all aware by now, J.J. Abrams pulls back the curtain on SUPER 8 this Friday. As such, MSN has scored a lengthy, 6-and-a-half minute clip from the film. View at your own peril below!

In the clip, you’ll continue to see the lead up to the critical train wreck that thrusts the cryptic story in motion. Not a ton is spoiled, but damn is the interplay between these kids amusing. Check out my man in the yellow jacket getting all Orson Welles on his buddies. Shite’s comedy!

June 10th, take a trip back to:

The summer of 1979, where a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

Amanda Michalka (below), Kyle Chandler, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basso, Joel Courtney, Zach Mills, Katie Lowes, Marco Sanchez and Ryan Lee all star in the film.
