Celebs talk about getting high in trailer for Netflix’s Have a Good Trip

Netflix has debuted a trailer for their latest documentary titled HAVE A GOOD TRIP: ADVENTURES IN PSYCHEDELICS, featuring celebrities such as Sarah Silverman, Sting, Adam Scott, A$AP Rocky and Ben Stiller getting candid about their past experiences while high on hallucinogenic drugs.

Set for a Monday, May 11 Netflix premiere, HAVE A GOOD TRIP: ADVENTURES IN PSYCHEDELICS is a documentary featuring real-life tripping stories from A-list actors, comedians, and musicians. Star-studded reenactments and surreal animations bring their comedic hallucinations to life. The film explores the pros, cons, history, future, science, pop cultural impact, and cosmic possibilities of hallucinogens. The film also acts as an unofficial user’s guide for these consciousness altering compounds, and helps dispel the scare myths of the After School Special era. The film tackles some big questions: Can psychedelics have a role in treating mental health? Do they make us jump out of windows? Is love really all we need? Can trees talk?

Other celebs that appear in the documentary are Nick Offerman (PARKS AND RECREATION, DEVS), Ad-Rock of Beastie Boys fame, Rosie Perez (BIRDS OF PREY, PINEAPPLE EXPRESS), Paul Scheer (THE LEAGUE), Nick Kroll (BIG MOUTH, PARKS AND RECREATION) and Rob Corddry (CHILDRENS HOSPITAL), with David Cross Donovan, Natasha Lyonne, Reggie Watts, Will Forte, and many more recanting their tales of triptastic terror and enlightenment.

As someone who's taken more than his fair share of "mental vacations" back in college, I must admit that this documentary has just shot to the top of my Must-Watch list. Word to the wise, kids. If you plan on taking a trip to the unknown by way of the Mushroom or Acid Express, exercise every precaution to remain safe at all times. Respect the drug, and always have someone who is sober and responsible in your group to handle business when shit turns sideways.

HAVE A GOOD TRIP: ADVENTURES IN PSYCHEDELICS will debut on Netflix come May 11th.
