A while ago we told you about this new slasher flick called CHAIN LETTER. Now I missed that update and I’ve never heard of this flick until today.
Over in our videos section you can find the newest trailer for the flick. Just click through below to check that out. After checking out the trailer, I’m actually down for seeing CHAIN LETTER. Sure, it’s looks completely unoriginal and cheesy… but I’m a sucker for slashers like CHAIN LETTER. I see shades of STAY ALIVE, ONE MISSED CALL, PULSE, SEE NO EVIL, and I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER all combined into one.
Normally that would mean disaster… and I think it’s safe to say that’s exactly the road CHAIN LETTER will go down… but I can hope can’t I? CHAIN LETTER basically centers on a maniac who murders teens when they refuse to forward chain mail. I like the idea, because those f*cking texts/emails are annoying… but it just doesn’t seem original.
Judge for yourself by checking the trailer out below. CHAIN LETTER comes from Deon Taylor, who also penned the script with Michael J. Pagan. The movie stars TWILIGHT’s Nikki Reed (below), Keith David, Brad Dourif, Bai Ling, Betsy Russell, and Michael Bailey Smith among others. No word on a release date yet but we’ll keep you updated.
