Chucky board game coming from Trick or Treat Studios

Trick or Treat Studios is accepting pre-orders for a board game inspired by Chucky the killer doll and the Child’s Play franchise

Chucky season 3 is set to begin airing on both Syfy and USA Network on October 4th, and episodes will be available to watch on the Peacock streaming service the day after they air. And that’s not the only new piece of Chucky entertainment we have to look forward to. Trick or Treat Studios has started taking pre-orders for their Chucky board game! The game goes for the price of $59.95 and can be pre-ordered at THIS LINK. It’s estimated to start shipping out on January 31, 2024.

The board game was designed by and features illustrations by Banana Chan, Eric Slauson, Yeonsoo Julian Kim, and Dug Nation.

Here’s the information on the Chucky board game: Chucky wants to be your friend. But being Chucky’s friend sometimes comes with… challenges.

In the officially licensed Chucky board game, each player will gather evidence about the mysterious murders that have been going on. This will give them skills and abilities to roll the dice and maybe handle an encounter with Chucky himself at the end of each round! After 3 rounds, the player who does the best at overcoming these challenges will be declared the winner survivor.

The Chucky board game is meant for players that are age 14 and over, and can be played by two to four people at once. Estimated play time is 60 minutes per game.

This is just one of several board games that have been inspired by classic horror films and franchises lately. Others we’ve covered in recent years include the Jaws board game, and games inspired by the slashers Silent Night, Deadly Night, My Bloody Valentine, Halloween II, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Jaws board game is the only one of these I have played so far, but I am very interested in trying out the games that were inspired by some of my favorite slashers.
