Here’s the official synopsis for Clifford the Big Red Dog:

When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

Clifford the Big Red Dog will come bounding onto Digital platforms on December 14, 2021, and on Blu-ray and DVD on February 1, 2022. Be sure to visit your local pet store before bringing Clifford the Big Red Dog into your home because you’ll be needing plenty of toys. Oh, and you may want to stop at the pharmacy for some nose plugs. Do you recall those dog farts we talked about earlier? I have it on good authority that they’re quite brutal, so it’s best to be prepared.

Like Paddington, Curious George, and Corduroy, Clifford the Big Red Dog was a major part of my childhood, and I’d often dream about bringing him home. Now I can, and it’s just in time for the holidays! Let’s whip up some massive biscuits for the best boy and let’s go!
