This little tidbit is too entertaining to pass up. Bloody-Disgusting spoke to director Matt Reeves on the red carpet at the premiere of CLOVERFIELD and threw the question of a sequel out there. Reeves’ response:
“…The fun of this movie was that it might not have been the only movie being made that night, there might be another movie! In today’s day and age of people filming their lives on their iphones and handy cams, uploading it to youtube…That was kind of exciting thinking about that.”
If CLOVERFIELD is as good as all the hype and reviews say it is, that sounds like a sweet ass idea to me. The Arrow even thought CLOVERFIELD was a fun time.
