No SUPERMAX isn’t some idiot superhero movie heading our way. ‘Supermax’ is actually a maximum-security prison for the supernatural. Well that sounds like loads of fun!
Columbia just picked up the spec script for the action/horror from writing duo Mitch Rouse and Christopher Nelson. Todd Garner’s Broken Road Productions are producing. The deal reached the mid six-figures. What is SUPERMAX? The story centers on a skilled prison guard who is re-assigned to Supermax. After a riot erupts, he must join forces with one of the prison’s monstrous inmates in order to survive and fight his way out.
Throw in a bunch of supernatural fun and we might be in for one twisted flick! Unfortunately that’s all we’ve got on SUPERMAX but be sure to keep it here as we await an update!
