Comic Con: Interview with Crimson Peak Director Guillermo del Toro!

Last Updated on February 5, 2026

Guillermo del Toro is a busy man. When we first spoke to the filmmaker during our time at Comic Con he discussed producing BOOK OF LIFE with director Jorge Gutierrez. However, on the press line for Legendary Pictures, he took time to talk about his own directorial project, CRIMSON PEAK. The ghostly feature film stars Charlie Hunnam, Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain and it sounds like a spooky good time. During our brief discussion, he opened up on his latest which will be hitting theatres in October of 2015. The fact that del Toro is returning to a creepy little horror feature is an exciting one and I look forward to seeing what thrills and chills he has in store.
