PUNISHER: WAR ZONE is almost here. It’s geared to hit theaters December 5 and showed up at Comic Con this week… without it’s director… but I’ll get to that.
First let me point you towards the new poster above. I’m digging the gear… but that’s about it. The figure looks like a toy and it’s a tad too simple for me… and I usually dig simple posters.

Bonus from Ain’t It Cool News: they’re saying Lionsgate has gone and axed director Lexi Alexander, stating she isn’t at ‘The Con’ because she’s on her ‘honeymoon.’ Apparently Lionsgate want to revamp the flick a bit before releasing it after seeing the success of some other big time superhero flicks this summer. Well the clean slate over at Lexi Alexander’s blog doesn’t seem to say otherwise. Head on over here to read up more on that.
So what’s the deal? Think Lionsgate got rid of their director in an attempt to compete with THE DARK KNIGHT and IRON MAN? From what I’ve seen and heard, PUNISHER: WAR ZONE’s trailer was met with a mixed reaction. Personally I’m still missing Tom Jane, oh Tom… As always, we’ll keep you updated.
