In Scott Derrickson’s DELIVER US FROM EVIL, Eric Bana plays Ralph Sarchie, a NY detective who faces unspeakable evil in the City That Never Sleeps. You may find it hard to believe, but Bana’s character is based on a real man, Ralph Sarchie, whose experiences with the supernatural during his time in the NYPD inspired his novel, “Beware the Night”.

Today brings us a closer look at Sarchie in the form of a 14-minute documentary. Some of the language may be considered NSFW, but he’s a colorful character from New York, what do you expect?
