You may think that this is just a cute little short from the guys at Rooster Teeth, but you’re kidding yourself if you think that this isn’t a harbinger of things to come.
You really think Hollywood is going to let the number one mobile phone game ever NOT get a feature film adaptation? With pigs stealing birds’ eggs, it’s got more of a plot than the upcoming OUIJA or ASTEROIDS movies, and while the film probably won’t be a Michael Bay production, I can easily see Dreamworks assembling a celebrity voice cast for a $100M budgeted CGI feature.
But until then, we have this video which brings the upset fowls into real life. As for the game itself, it’s fun but not THAT fun. And besides, I think if we’re making phone games into movies now, the prime choice would be Infinity Blade.
