Cool Videos: Channing Tatum mocks Van Damme from the set of 22 Jump Street

JoBloJoBlo

Last week, action legend Jean-Claude Van Damme appeared in a commerical for Volvo, demonstrating his unique split skills, while being sandwiched between two moving trucks. The video went viral and we all nodded in approval of the Belgian actor for his audacious stunt. However, it only seemed a matter of time before it was parodied and thanks to Channing Tatum that prophecy has come true. Currently shooting the sequel 22 JUMP STREET, Tatum took a moment to promote the film, while showcasing his own split-stunt prowess from the set. I won’t say this is the most hilarious thing you’ll see today, but perhaps just a really fun parody. If nothing else, it gets me excited for 22 JUMP STREET, especially since the first one was such a damn riot. It appears Tatum hasn’t lost his comedic edge there (Man, did I really just say that about Tatum? Who would thought??).

For the sake of those that may have missed it, here’s the original with Van Damme:

And, here’s Tatum’s masterful take:

22 JUMP STREET is set to hit theaters on June 13, 2014.
