There are a string of baseball movies that I grew up with; THE SANDLOT, LITTLE BIG LEAGUE, ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD. The list goes on, but also includes ROOKIE OF THE YEAR. Directed by Daniel Stern himself (of HOME ALONE fame), the movie also featured Stern in a role as a pitching coach for the Chicago Cubs. Well, wouldn't you know it? The Cubs are doing pretty well this year, so Stern decided to bring back his Phil Brickma persona in a new series of YouTube shorts, the first of which you can see below. Is it more creepy than funny? That's up in the air, but it's all pretty entertaining!
