It’s safe to say that Batman is fresh on everyone’s mind right now. BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is just days away from finally arriving in theaters. THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE is receiving its initial promotional push. The Dark Knight is once again a part of the superhero conversation.
That makes this a perfect time for Burger Fiction to move through the various interpretations of Batman we’ve gotten over the years. While people will always point to a specific version of the Caped Crusader and say “That’s not Batman,” they’re probably incorrect. Batman has come in a lot of different forms over the years, across a number of different tones and styles… And, well, it’s interesting to take a look at how Batman has transformed from his early days to where he is now across television and film.
