Cool Videos: This fan trailer for a Marvel vs DC movie is pretty epic

Remember five years ago when we dreamed of a seemingly impossible future where we would see our favorite superheroes team up on the big screen? The mere thought of THE AVENGERS of JUSTICE LEAGUE seemed nearly impossible to fathom and now we are in a world where both will be valid franchises within the next five years. Now, the only dream left is Marvel vs DC.

The logistical nightmare that it would take to combine these two competing companies means there is practically no chance this will ever happen. Marvel cannot even get all of their heroes into one film so how could different companies do it? So, we are left with fans who take it upon themselves to edit together trailers like this, teasing the potential for such a massive crossover.

I realize this is mostly just a lot of flying, punching, and explosions, but the fight scenes between Thor, Superman, Batman, and Hulk are edited in such a way that for a split second I could see how this would look in it’s finished form and I got goosebumps. I won’t be greedy, but I secretly hope this somehow happens, some day.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON opens May 1, 2015 while BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE opens on March 25, 2016.
