Way back in June I told you all about a supernatural flick called DREAM HOUSE. At the time Daniel ‘James Bond’ Craig was in talks to star with Jim Sheridan in talks to direct… but nothing was set in stone. Well the concrete has dried and we’ve got our movie!
Variety dropped the update today that both Daniel Craig and Jim Sheridan are officially attached to the psychological thriller. DREAM HOUSE is about a family that relocate to a small New England town, only to learn that their new home was the scene of a vicious murder and is haunted by its former inhabitants. To be completely honest I’m not really excited for this one… It’s just not jumping out at me. The biggest selling point here is that Daniel Craig is going to be in a horror flick! That alone might make it worth checking out. But let’s be honest…. Can you look at Craig and not think ‘There’s James Bond?’ Wouldn’t that just totally kill a psychological thriller?
All opinions aside, DREAM HOUSE was written by David Loucka and starts filming January 25th. We’ll be keeping an eye on this one so be sure to check back for updates.
