Creepshow: Mezco Toyz accepting pre-orders for 18″ plush version of The Creep

2022 marks the fortieth anniversary of the release of Creepshow (watch it HERE), the classic horror anthology from director George A. Romero and writer Stephen King. To celebrate the anniversary, the folks at Mezco Toyz have created an 18″ plush version of the anthology’s skeletal host The Creep, and they’re accepting pre-orders for the plush at THIS LINK! The Creep is expected to start shipping out sometime around the months of September to November this year.

Here’s the information on it:

The most fun you’ll ever have… being scared! Straight from the 1982 horror film, Creepshow, The Creep is here to fright and delight! This floppy Roto Plush is equal parts cuddly and creepy. At approximately 18 inches tall, the MDS Roto Plush Creep features a menacing one-eyed stare and toothy smile. The decaying skeletal figure is outfitted in his iconic hood and robe and features rooted hair.

The MDS Roto Plush Creepshow (1982): The Creep comes packaged in a collector-friendly window box, perfect for display

This product is intended for collectors ages 15 and up and is not suitable for children. The product may contain small parts that can be a choking hazard as well as sharp points that can cause injury. The item is not designed for rough play and is considered a display item for collectors.

The Creep returned in animated form to host Creepshow 2, but the Creepshow series now airing on the Shudder streaming service has a version of the Creep that’s more like the original iteration of the character.

A couple images of the Roto Plush Creep from Mezco Toyz are featured below, and more can be seen on the Mezco Toyz website. The price is a little steep, as far as I’m concerned. This little thing will set you back $98. I’m a huge fan of Creepshow, but I can’t put $98 toward a Creep plush.
