Now we all know how remakes are oh so great. Studios keep making remakes… we keep seeing them… so goes the fun little money making circle. I’m sure most out there have heard the rumblings of a CREEPSHOW remake… now this news today isn’t about the remake… but about something completely different.
We got an email today from Nicholas. In this email Nick informs us that there’s a good chance HD Films Inc have acquired the rights to the CREEPSHOW franchise. You’ve never heard of HD Films? Me either. Apparently they’re based in Burbank, California and their official website doesn’t offer much.
Now Nick goes on to say how HD Films seem to be gearing up to release an internet-based anthology based on the original CREEPSHOW’s format. This anthology will be titled CREEPSHOW RAW. We’ve even scored a look at three somewhat blurry stills that seem to be from this new anthology. You can check out those below. If you head on over to www.CREEPSHOW-RAW.com, which is tagged on the photos below, you won’t find much. Just HD Films’ logo.
A name also seems to be attached to this project. Jace Hall, who’s most known for being the man behind video games like F.E.A.R. and CONDEMNED: CRIMINAL ORIGINS. This news is intriguing enough… so what do you think? It’s gotta be better than FEAR ITSELF right?
