If your last movie was ANALYZE THAT, you might hide for a while too. Except for the occasional Oscar hosting duty, of course.
Billy Crystal, who I’m certain was previously funny, will contribute to the continuing emasculation of Dwayne “Ex-The Rock” Johnson in Fox’s family comedy THE TOOTH FAIRY. The story involves a hockey player who gets sentenced to serve as the actual Tooth Fairy. Sounds like a variation on Piers Anthony’s “On a Pale Horse”, only terrible.
The movie is directed by Michael Lembeck (of THE SANTA CLAUSE 2 and 3, which may inform your opinion). Crystal’s CITY SLICKERS writers Lowell Ganz & Babaloo Mandel penned a previous draft, which might be how he got lured back to the big screen. Or maybe, conceivably, it’s funny?
