Well today Variety dropped the word on who will be aiding Emmerich in yet another apocalypse. That man will be John Cusack. (right)
Now I’m a big Cusack fan. I don’t know why, I just am. I seem to like most of his films… hell I even thought 1408 was the best horror last year. I really dug that shite.
According to Variety: The story kicks off with a global cataclysm, which brings an end to the world as we know it, and chronicles the heroic struggle of the survivors. 2012 refers to the end days of human civilization as foretold by the ancient Mayan calendar.
Chiwetel Ejiofor (REDBELT) is also in talks to join the flick, which was written by Emmerich and Harald Kloser. Shooting is set to start his July in LA.
