CW adapting Stephen King’s Revelations of Becka Paulson into a drama series!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

According to Deadline, CW is currently developing an hour-long drama series called REVELATIONS, which will be based on the short story THE REVELATIONS OF BECKA PAULSON that Stephen King wrote in a 1984 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Here's the official synopsis:

After accidentally shooting herself in the brain with a nail gun, a Pollyanna-ish Becca Paulson is recruited by an over-it Jesus to be his “chosen one” in stopping the apocalypse. In order to save the world, Becca will have to prove that our deeply backward planet Earth is redeemable — starting with her quirky midwestern hometown.

Meanwhile, this will be the second adaptation of said story, as the 1997 reboot of THE OUTER LIMITS did an episode based on King's THE REVELATIONS OF BECKA PAULSON starring Catherine O'Hara as the titular Becka Paulson.

So what do you guys think? Anyone read the short story or see the OUTER LIMITS episode? If so, how does an hour long show based on the story sound to you? Either way, sound off below!
