Tonight was the first I heard of DANCE OF THE DEAD, and I have to say… this sounds awesome!

First the news bit. The new teaser poster for the flick has hit the net. You can scope that above. Although I liked that poster when it was for SHAUN OF THE DEAD, the DANCE version works for me too.

Now onto the info for the flick. The official MySpace has this listed as the synopsis:

On the night of the big high-school Prom, the dead rise to eat the living, and the only people who can stop them are the losers who couldn’t get dates to the dance.

Oh I’m definately down! The flick is directed by Gregg Bishop with a script from Joe Ballarini. It stars Jared Kusnitz (below left), Greyson Chadwick (below), Chandler Darby, Carissa Capobianco, Randy McDowell, Michael V. Mammoliti, and Mark Lynch.

According to IMDB, DANCE OF THE DEAD is slated for an October 20 release. We’ll keep you updated on anything DANCE OF THE DEAD.
