One flick we’ve criminally forgotten about since announcing it last May is BAD-ASS, the Danny Trejo starring tale of vigilante revenge. Almost a year later and what do we have? How about a poster, trailer, synopsis and release date. A lot to pack in a single punch…about as apt as Trejo’s own fists of steel!

Directed by Craig Moss, from a script he wrote with Elliot Tishman:

Trejo stars as decorated Vietnam veteran Frank Vega, who returns home from war to find himself shunned by society. Forty years later, he becomes a local hero after protecting an elderly man.

But his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse when his best friend Klondike is murdered and the police aren’t doing anything about it. Vega decides to take matters into his own hands as he goes in search of the killer only to discover links to local government corruption.

BAD-ASS has some pretty solid support in the form of Ron Perlman, Charles S. Dutton, Patrick Fabian, Jennifer Blanc, Joyful Drake, Winter Ave Zoli (below), John Duffy and Danny Woodburn. The flick hits both limited theatrical and VOD release on April 13th.

Antyhing but a BAD ASS there!
