The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is back, and this time, he’s not fighting the forces of evil alone. Before Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 debuts on Disney+ on March 24, Marvel is unleashing a selection of critics and fans on social media to share their first reactions to the latest chapter of the horned hero’s next patrol along the rooftops of the west side of Manhattan.

What is Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 About?

The official synopsis for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 reads:

“In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil. But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”

As Marvel Studios continues to pull characters from Daredevil’s Netflix era, Krysten Ritter returns as Jessica Jones for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. From what we’ve seen, she’s ready to bust some skulls in the name of justice and help Matt become an even bigger thorn in Kingpin’s side as he continues to rule New York with an iron fist.

Charlie Cox on Jessica Jones’ Return

Previously, Charlie Cox spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the character dynamic between Jones and Murdock, saying, “Just by the nature of who Jessica is and who Matt is, they both give as much as they get. I’m not sure we were aware of it when we were shooting it. So we’ve been really waiting for this opportunity for so long now to put these two on screen together and have more fun with them.”

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 continues Marvel’s commitment to offering fans mature content while waiting for Spider-Man: Brand New Day to release in theaters on July 31, 2026. Born Again does not shy away from violence, harsh language, gritty drama, and interpretations of characters that go against the grain while remaining true to the source material. It’s been too long since Daredevil and Jessica Jones got a prime opportunity to break some bones, so anticipation for their reunion is creating quite the buzz among Marvel fans.
