It’s about time. The upcoming Dylan Dog adaptation DEAD OF NIGHT is looking pretty decent, but there’s one thing it had fans scratching their heads about: Why is the flick called DEAD OF NIGHT and not DYLAN DOG? Well it seems we’ve got the best of both worlds now!

It seems DEAD OF NIGHT director Kevin Munroe updated the flick’s official blog with the news that the movie will now be called DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT. Much better! But let’s be honest… does it really matter? We know what the flick is about, this title change doesn’t mean much. Either way I’m digging the new title. What says you guys?

DEAD OF NIGHT will chronicle the adventures of supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of the Louisiana bayou in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans. In the film Dylan Dog is forced back into his nightmare investigations after he is approached by a woman who claims to have seen her father brutally murdered by a mysterious creature. With his street smarts, his gun, and a set of paranormal weapons, Dylan attempts to restore order both above and below ground.

DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT, which is currently in post production, stars Brandon Routh, Peter Stormare, Taye Diggs, Sam Huntington, Brian Steele, Anita Briem, Marco St. John, Kurt Angle, Randal Reeder and Courtney J. Clark (below). Nevermind a release date, this flick still doesn’t have a studio here in the US but it will be hitting Italy this Halloween! As always, keep it here for more on DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT as we hear it!
