WAY back in September we showed you the trailer for Marcel Sarmiento and Gadi Harel’s DEADGIRL, which can also be found below or in our videos section.
Well since then the film has been making the rounds via the festival circuit and if the quotes are to be believed… has been gaining some very positive praise! Today a new poster for the movie hit the net and can be found above. WHOA! It’s not what you think folks. Maybe I’ve just got a dirty mind… but when I scanned over that poster for the first time I had to do a double take! Anyone else run into the same experience? Alas the poster is of a pair of lips… but the kind found on the face! I’m definitely digging it and the praise at the top isn’t a bad touch.
You can also check out the flick’s official website to try and catch some flies. And that’s no joke folks. When you hit the site you’ll find up to four flies buzzing about your computer screen in an effort to annoy the hell out of you. The annoyance grows when you actually give in and try to ‘swat’ them with your mouse cursor…. little bastards. DEADGIRL is a horror/thriller about two teenagers who make a shocking discovery that not only threatens their friendship but also their lives. In a forgotten room of an abandoned asylum, they find a beautiful woman tied to a bed, and soon come to realize she is anything but dead. It stars Shiloh Fernandez, Noah Segan, Michael Bowen, Candice Accola (below), Andrew DiPalma, Eric Podnar, Nolan Gerard Funk, and Christina Blevins with a script from Trent Haaga. We’ll keep an eye on DEADGIRL as it continues to do the festival thing and as always we’ll bring you new updates as we hear them!
