A new episode of our Best Horror Party Movies video series has just been released, and with this one we’re looking back at director James Wan’s 2007 revenge thriller Death Sentence (watch it HERE). Directed by James Wan from a screenplay by Ian Mackenzie Jeffers that was based on a novel by Death Wish author Brian Garfield, Death Sentence has the following synopsis: Nick Hume is on his way home from a hockey game with his son, Brendan, and stops for gasoline. Helplessly he sees a street thug kill Brendan while robbing the station. Believing the justice system will fail him, Nick goes after the killer himself, setting off a war between him and the killer’s older brother.
The film stars Kevin Bacon, Garrett Hedlund, Kelly Preston, Aisha Tyler, John Goodman, Matt O’Leary, Leigh Whannell, Stuart Lafferty, Zachary Dylan Smith, Jordan Garrett, Edi Gathegi, Yorgo Constantine, Hector Atreyu Ruiz, Kanin Howell, and Judith Roberts.
