Death Shark: trailer unleashed for Chinese creature feature

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

So this looks fun, I suppose. Anyway, a new trailer has just been released for the upcoming Chinese shark disaster film Death Shark (a.k.a. Killer Shark). But then again, I can be a sucker for good-bad shark movies (Sharknado excluded).

Here's the official synopsis:

Six young men and women are trapped in the sea and attacked by sharks. Giant raging man-eating sharks, that is, mutated by pollution.

Meanwhile, Death Shark – written and directed by Shi Qiang and starring Qiu Pincheng, Liang Jingjing, Shu Guilin, Wu Fangyuan and Chen Yajing – will be premiering on the Chinese streaming platform iQiyi this weekend. However, no North American release as of yet, but we'll keep you posted!

So what do you guys think? And what's your favorite – non-Jaws – shark film? And I guess Orca counts. Either way, sound off below!
