Dinosaurs are weaponized in the Jurassic Thunder trailer

During the fourteen year gap between the releases of JURASSIC PARK III and JURASSIC WORLD, the producers of that franchise kicked around the idea of making a JURASSIC PARK 4 that would have been about a mad scientist creating weaponized dinosaurs – dinosaurs specifically designed to be able to carry around weaponry. Although the concept has been teased a bit in the recent JURASSIC movies, I think it's safe to say they're never actually going to go all-in on weapon-toting dinosaurs.

So directors Milko Davis and Thomas Martwick have taken it upon themselves to bring us weapon-toting dinosaurs in their own movie, JURASSIC THUNDER.

Starring Heath Heine, Rick Haak, and Elvis Sharp, the film has the following synopsis:

When a covert desert base is forced to divert World War 3 against their adversary, a group of commandos and weaponized dinasours are hired to do the job.

The trailer for JURASSIC THUNDER can be seen below, and it features as many shots of a T. Rex firing a minigun that's mounted on its body as you could ever hope to see in a trailer for a movie about dinosaurs with guns.

A release date for the film is not yet available, but it will be screening at the Blissfest333 film festival this August.
