Documentary The Psycho Legacy hitting DVD this October?!

Did you guys know there’s a documentary on the way about Alfred Hitchcock’s PSYCHO? Well of course you did! We’ve told you about it before.. back in mid-2007. Oh yeah, I just said 2007.

Nearly three years later and we’ve finally got a release date on Robert Galluzzo’s THE PSYCHO LEGACY! Galluzzo recently hit us with the following status update via his Facebook:

“PSYCHO LEGACY. US DVD release. October 2010. I assure you, I will load it up with as much bonus content as I possibly can. Word.”

Word indeed Mr. Galluzzo! A PSYCHO documentary later this year? Sh*t I’m down! What says you guys? You down for Galluzzo’s in-depth look into the world of PSYCHO? Of course you are.

THE PSYCHO LEGACY is a documentary chronicling the entire PSYCHO franchise – including the original movie, the sequels, the TV movies, the Robert Bloch novels and the Innovation comic books. It’s meant to examine and look at the complete history of a pop culture icon. Norman Bates. And more importantly… Mother. Interviews include several people involved in all the PSYCHO films, as well as various professionals currently in the horror industry whom were inspired by PSYCHO and it’s sequels. The object of the film is to both reflect and remind people that the PSYCHO films have their set place in horror history and are still relevant and loved by genre fans of today.
