Doomsday site live

I was already jazzed for DOOMSDAY, Neil Marshall’s follow-up to his DOG SOLDIERS and THE DESCENT, but I’m even more excited now that the postapocalyptic aesthetic he’s aiming for seems similar to one of my all-time favorite flicks, THE ROAD WARRIOR.

The official site for Rogue’s movie is a living thing, and while there’s no footage to be seen, there are plenty of photos and behind-the-scenes and background information on the futuristic UK “world” Marshall has built. Lots of guns, mohawked marauders, fireballs, vehicles, yucky diseases, swords, burnt-out landscapes, and the luscious Rhona Mitra.

Check out the official site RIGHT HERE! DOOMSDAY hits England in December, while us Yanks have to wait until next year. I look forward to the end of the world.
