Adam Sandler gets to go play with his friends once again in HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2; Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, Andy Samberg, and Selena Gomez all return from the first film and Sony Pictures Animation have just released the first domestic poster for the animated sequel, check it out below!
I know I watched the first film, I might have even found it to be less offensive than I thought it would be, but I can't seem to remember much about it. You should really get that checked out Kevin, memory loss is troubling…as is talking to yourself. HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 will see Adam Sandler's Dracula finally loosening up following the events of the first film. However his brand new half-human half-vampire grandson has shown no signs of becoming a vampire yet, so Drac enlists his old friends to put the little guy through a “monster-in-training” boot camp. Little does he know that his estranged father Vlad is on the way for a surprise visit. Secrets will be revealed, drama will unfold, and fart jokes will probably be a given.
Stepping into the role of Dracula's father Vlad will be none other than Mel Brooks himself, a comedy legend who should hopefully prove to be a highlight of the film. The first HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA may not have been great, but it's sadly the best thing Adam Sandler has done in quite some time. Here's hoping the sequel can improve on that and with Genndy Tartakovsky returning to the directors chair…it just might.
