When you reach a certain level of fame and fortune, it has to feel great to be able to gift the people you love with something special after they helped you become the person you are today. Dwayne Johson is no stranger to being generous, especially with his family, and he continued that generous streak by buying his mom, Ata Johnson, a brand new house.
Johnson didn’t just buy his mom a new home but it came complete fully designed and furnished. The actor shared the moment his mom opened the doors to her new home on his Instagram page and while you would think she’d be used to her son giving her the world, it looks like she couldn’t help but fight back tears when she finally saw her new abode. This isn’t the first time that Johnson has bought his mom a new home. In the caption, he mentions he has bought his mom a number of homes but this one will be her “forever” home. She wanted a space to truly call hers and be able to stop traveling the world. Johnson designed the new house full of memories of their culture and family. You can tell in another post, where she enters the family room, that all of this was specially designed for her and from the heart.
BTW, there is also a room called the “Smackdown Room” which is basically a shrine to her son’s accomplishments. This wasn’t put together to stroke her son’s ego, in fact, he mentions this might be his least favorite room in the caption but it’s a cool spot to bring her guests to show what her son has over the years.
There are so many Hollywood moments that can not be positive at times so it’s nice to highlight something that we can all universally appreciate. Being able to get to a level to support our loved ones after they spent years doing it for us. This will not be the last thing Dwayne Johnson buys for his mom and it’s clear that she’s 100% deserving of the love.
