Yep, it's that time of the year as Top Ten lists begin flooding in (including our own) and while we certainly won't be covering every list from every celebrity or filmmaker, there are some whose opinions we value and find of interest and director Edgar Wright is one of them. THE WORLD'S END was one of my favorite films of the year (and tops on our best of summer list) and Wright's resume of films sit happily on my blu-ray shelf. Wright is one of the coolest and most exciting filmmakers working today, so it's interesting to hear what films are influencing him both as a fan and a filmmaker.

Some interesting and surprising choices from Wright, quite a few I agree with. Of course, awards season can make it tough to compile a best of list as the onslaught of "Oscar-fare" flicks come fast and furious, which can be hard to keep up with if you're not being paid to watch them or mailed screeners. It seems that the two biggest contenders for most folks' final lists are THE WOLF OF WALL STREET and HER (GRUDGE MATCH? Kidding). What do you think of Wright's list?
