One of the more controversial choices of the upcoming BEAUTY AND THE BEAST adaptation is that of Emma Watson playing the part of Belle. Emma Watson wouldn't be my first (or second, or third) choice to play Belle, but I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt. I'll tell you one thing; those clips of her voice, auto-tuned and processed to hell, certainly aren't helping her case! Still, she can hardly be blamed for some poor post-production work. Here's hoping the rest of her performance isn't as hindered!
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will open in theaters on March 17, 2017.
